End of Homeschool Year Mass

8:22 AM
On Saturday, our homeschool group had it's End Of School Year Mass and luncheon. We had intended to have a picnic on the grounds of an estate but the weather didn't comply. Our dear homeschool chaplain did agree to our using the church basement for lunch after Mass. Our fun couldn't be spoiled as a small group of us did enjoy our fellowship marking our 2nd year together.

Now, if we could only get the school work done...it would really be summer! ;)

Hope you had a great weekend and school year!

Good luck finishing your school work. I am hoping that our group, which was founded in the 1990s (I joined in 2000), will start to have an end of the year Mass each year on the Feast of the Sacred Heart.

Thank you for all of your posts on Our Blessed Mother!

On a personal note, please will you pray that the Fraternity of St. Peter is in the Archdiocese of Seattle by July and that they are located within 20 to 30 minutes of our house.

What a wonderful prayer intention Christine, consider it done. Our Latin Mass society was thinking that we should sponsor a seminarian. When we write our check, in the note section we'd mention our society and location in hopes that someday they'd send a priest our way. :)

Eldest son is helping drag out the school year here. I need to wrap up science with both boys, but then middle son is done. They already think summer is here and we all have little drive to do schoolwork.
