I love love love how you made it into a collage. So much better and more accurate than those auto-collages facebook apps try to make for us! Your family is beautiful :)
Good morning. I just read the post about a patron saint for the year. What a great idea. Does each child choose one or is one saint chosen for the whole family? Also, I would like you to choose one for us. How do we go about doing that?
Thanks for being so kind, as always, friends. The collage does allow for a quick overview of the year and I did enjoy reliving it as I chose photos.
I love looking at all your photos, too. Isn't photography such a gift to our eyes, hearts, memories?? Lucy, your girls and photos are so beautiful and wonderful.
And Kathy - some people ask for a family saint and some ask for individual saints. I can pick one for you, since you asked. ... St. Dismas, the good thief and to pray for conversions.
If you'd like more, leave a comment on that Saint post with a list. I pick and post saints at the end ofthe day. If you follow the link on the post there's one from a previous year that tells you how to make your own saint basket.
WELCOME TO THIS PHOTO - JOURNAL celebrating the traditional, Roman Catholic faith ... in words and images. I believe that Catholicism & The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass are the GOOD, the TRUE and the BEAUTIFUL in this life. With my camera and my words, what better f o c u s could I share on this blog? The first post appeared in May of 2007, when I started homeschooling my 4. In 2011, this blog was the reason we traveled to Rome, to participate in the VATICAN BLOGGERS MEETING, where my goal to promote Catholic social media began. Today, 2 of my homeschoolers have graduated and study at/graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville. It is so encouraging to have this online community, to know you are out there and to share what we learn with each other. May we do so, AMDG, for the glory of God and all for Jesus, Mary & Joseph. Totus Tuus! +JMJ+
