Very very cool. My second son wants to be a mobster for halloween. Cigar and all. I went to a discount store for a costume but I still cannot bring myself to pay 20 bucks for a pinstripped suit. Your kids look all decked out!
Hilarious. I love this! I say play "dress up" as long as you can. I have an outfit I bought at the MD RenFest a few years ago. It's a bit snug, but if I lose the extra 30, it will hang upon me quite nicely again. Right now, snug means I look like a typical Hollywood rendition of a bar wench. He he he. Oh, well, I'll be the rolly polly mum. As long as I'm happy, which I am. I enjoy dressing up and Halloween gives me the opening. Perhaps I should seek out public theatre.
WELCOME TO THIS PHOTO - JOURNAL celebrating the traditional, Roman Catholic faith ... in words and images. I believe that Catholicism & The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass are the GOOD, the TRUE and the BEAUTIFUL in this life. With my camera and my words, what better f o c u s could I share on this blog? The first post appeared in May of 2007, when I started homeschooling my 4. In 2011, this blog was the reason we traveled to Rome, to participate in the VATICAN BLOGGERS MEETING, where my goal to promote Catholic social media began. Today, 2 of my homeschoolers have graduated and study at/graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville. It is so encouraging to have this online community, to know you are out there and to share what we learn with each other. May we do so, AMDG, for the glory of God and all for Jesus, Mary & Joseph. Totus Tuus! +JMJ+

Mobsters is the plan here too, Christine.
We had luck with pinstripped stuff at Goodwill and dark shirt. Did not find the white ties.
We ordered the white ties, gangster hats and rubber cigars at CostumeSuperstore.com...but they are getting a lot of use out of it. Tee hee.

I'm picturing curly top with a big fur collar and a wad of bubble gum.
Yes, Lindsay, and he's the one that started us on the Al Capone kick...I think a certain movie about a guy named Snaps Provolone might have helped! ;)
Very cool pictures Allison!
Hey... is that a Cuban? Love the pictures! I can picture what Lindsay is saying! Too Funny!
