Our Lady will comfort...

On this the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, an image dear to me, I am reminded of supernatural qualities of this image! Are you aware of THIS?

I am also reminded of how Our Lady spoke to St. Juan Diego.

Listen and let it penetrate your heart…do not be troubled or weighed down with grief. Do not fear any illness or vexation, anxiety or pain. Am I not here who am your Mother? Are you not under my shadow and protection? Am I not your fountain of life? Are you not in the folds of my mantle? In the crossing of my arms? Is there anything else you need?”

Our Lady's words make these pillows seem even more restful and comforting. They were made from THIS fabric and for little babies to hug as they grow to love Our Mother. (And with a pocket to hold a rosary, a holy card and prayer...or even a tooth!)

That is a pretty pillow. That would make a good gift to my children. I wonder where I would find material like that...probably on the web.

Nice idea!

Someone must be bothering you? I noticed your "warning" now posted at the top of your sidebar.

St Michael...Pray for us!

Remember the manners you were taught growing up..."If you can't say something nice, say nothing at all?"

The sad things about this visitor is that it is someone I know...who knows me from growing up. My sitemeter tells me they are near the area I grew up. They left a contentious comment last holiday season too. I'm looking into ways to block their IP address.

Thanks for the prayer Jenny. :)

What a beautiful post and adorable pillows. I love the fabric and the entire concept of them. The dress you had made for your daughter is beyond cute. What a great idea.

I will pray for your anonomous commenter as well. Sorry you have to go through that.

Send them a nice Christmas card.

Speaking of cards, yours was beautiful!!! Thank you so much, mine are sitting on the counter waiting for me to address. Tomorrow.

Beautiful fabric, beautiful pillow, wow, I'd like to get some of that fabric too. We have some parishoners from Africa and they wear these most beautiful dresses or long gowns made out of material like that. Beautiful, just beautiful.

Can you tell I love that word?

I just love when I am able to come on your blog!!! It is so nice to find like minded thinkers. Your posts are always inspiring and at times funny as well! I had found some simallar fabric like this a few years back mine had little chidren with the child Jesus putting flowers on a Marian shine. I had my mom make church bags for my littles with it. They love them. I will have to find this fabric and ask her to make us some pillows too! God bless!
