The hypocrisy of Pro-Choice AND Anti-War believers

9:52 AM
"If we accept that a mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people to not kill each other?

Any country that accepts abortion is not teaching its people to love, but to use any violence to get what they want. This is why the greatest destroyer of love and peace is abortion."

National Prayer Breakfast Speech Against Abortion (1994)

- Blessed Mother Teresa

iam most definitely anti-war. war is only justified if it is a just war. which iraq is not. even the Holy Father says that. i believe firmly that man does not have to war with each other. but, it happens as history has shown because we are incapable of peace. we are not capable of loving one another as Christ has loved us. if we all followed that command, there would be no war. the war in iraq was started by bush and his cronies, and the whole world knows it. the troops, i feel bad for them that they are fighting a war one man started. and thousands of innocent iraqi's and allies died because of one man. that is sad. very sad. not all anti war supporters are hypocrites. we just want peace. and man to learn to live in peace. the only problem is, do they want to?

My thoughts exactly. Why is this not obviously apparent to the whole world? Everyone has the "Choice" to murder, but why on God's great earth would they decide to make it legal? We rashly persecute mother's who have postpartum depression and kill their young children, but we give that same mother the "legal" and "private" "Choice" to do it before the child is born????

AGH! Thickheaded and selfish people, I tell ya!

Marilena, I hope you understand that I am connecting those who believe abortion is OK yet are also anti-war. Killing leads to killing, a culture of death.

While I pray for our troops and am grateful for their sacrifice, I do not want war or killing...of any kind.

i understood what you meant. i made the point about war because iam very anti war. very. i do not believe in killing. i leave justice up to God. i do hope and pray that the war that bush started in iraq ends soon so that peace can have a real chance.

What a great argument!

I do not think anyone is pro-war, but there are many who believe the war is much more important than abortion, this explains it perfectly.

j, that is true. protecting the unborn is far more important. i agree 100%.
