Simple Woman's daybook - July 27th

2:34 PM
I'm participating in A Simple Woman's Daybook carnival. Visit Peggy to see all the other daybooks of participants.

Outside my Window...a terrific thunderstorm complete with hail, love it, so cooling!

I am thinking of...our friends who invited us over for dinner.

I am thankful for...all the caring people, family & friends, who wrote letters to my son on his 13th birthday.

From the kitchen...nothing, we're invited out!

I am creating...a pile of homeschooling materials to share with my friend

I am going... to do an extreme blog makeover! Stayed tuned....

I am wearing....denim capris and a lilac v-neck t shirt

I am reading... my camera manual, again. I find I have to, often, to remember how to do things and expand my usage of it.

I am finish organizing my scrapbook room, there are photos everywhere! What a mess...but, it's been a lot of fun too. I am hearing...thunder booms and the odd tinkling of hail balls on the house and deck, excited children.

Around the house...some roses just cut from the bush out back and also hydrangea and sunflowers! This has been a lovely flower year and I have been able to fill the house with cuttings from my own home. The squirrels actually are owed some thanks as they made the sunflower seed mess that produced the sunflowers!

One of my favorite things...this wire photo collage from Expressions. I've had this for many years and I enjoy updating the collage.

Quilts and ... My new bedroom night table lamps.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...prepare for First Friday, My husband's birthday and First Saturday.

Here is a picture/thought I am sharing.... my 13 year old

I love the picture of your 13 year old son, he looks so smart and bright. I love the video of the Thunder and hail storm, here in North Carolina we are in a drought we really need rain.

I found you through Peggy's blog, and I have to tell you that I LOVE the picture of your kids in your side bar. I can totally see their personalities.

And the Quilt! And your cozy bed! It all makes me want to curl up and nap. :) Which is a good thing.

I have a son who just turned 13 too. We were pregnant at the same time. :) Your blog is sweet. I'm looking forward to the make over.

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE that Grandmother's Garden quilt. It's one of my favorites and probably one I'll never make since it takes so long. I have a few I have bought. They are precious to me.

Blessings and favor for your week.
Kind regards,
Michal (AllyJo)

PS: check out the hanky curtain I made. It's in my blog some where. Maybe under house keeping or sewing.

I love people who love unborn human beings.

Hopefully I'll be able to share it as well!!

Enjoy yourself with that room!!
