The Pipes are A'blowin'
My blogger friends, Christine and Jamie have been taking trips in their minds. It's not as crazy as that sounds.....
I told them I would be "taking them" to Scotland. I love the Scottish accent and the scenery. My grandmother and I went there together about 20 years ago.
Munch on some Scottish shortbread as you visit my daydream home.
The heathered highlands bekon....
It's a rugged terrain....
Where the hikes are so scenic.
Here's what we do....
Can you just hear the bagpipes lads and lassies?
Let us know where your daydreams take you....

Wow! Those photos are absolutely stunning! My husband is mostly Scottish and has always said that someday we will visit there. I will have him look at these lovely photographs, since affording a trip to Europe may be decades away!
Each time I've been to Scotland i've liked it more and more! But as a former Highland Dancer I'm so-o-o-o disappointed you left that out!
*dramatic sob*
I would love to come to your Scottish home and take a walk with you......in my mind!
Thanks for sharing.
I did enjoy the trip.
Thanks for the trip to your home! My brother in law lived there a while and married someone from there and divorced her too...so he's back in the states and married to someone different....
Beautiful pictures!! It sure is an interesting place!
I love, love, love Scotland and have visited more times than I can count. A question(s) for your commenter Jennifer – as one Highland Dancer to another although I am a current dancer and not a former dancer. Where have you danced, what is your tartan, what is your favorite dance (mine is the Hornpipe), have you danced in Scotland, do you do the Highland Games circuit, what group do you dance with? I think it would be brilliant and so informative and fun for you to do a feature regarding your Highland Dance skills – complete with pictures and details. I would love to see a video of you dancing. What do you think readers????
