Chess
For day 9 of the April Showers of Photos, I photographed the children at lunch and playing chess. After reading about Chess (which I loved playing at their age) and academic studies, I've decided to set up the board at their lunch table weekly...to start out. It proved very engaging for them all.
For me, it was a great opportunity to practice the upfront focus and background blur of aperature features... and some closeups too.
For them, well, the benefits of CHESS are outstanding!

Great idea to set up Chess at lunch, I'm such a miserable player dd doesn't even ask me anymore - LOL! However, our favorite Irish pub in Key West has Chess Tables set up in the garden. Just one of the reasons it is our favorite place...
