Today I read on a blog that we are 39 days away from Christmas!
It reminded me to put up this Christmas Pledge on my fridge. I put it there as a much-needed reminder every year since I read UNPLUG THE CHRISTMAS MACHINE.

Amen Amen Amen....stop the merry go round, I want to get off...
I LOVE CHRISTMAS AND I LOVE ALL THE CHURCH TRADITIONS AROUND THIS HOLY TIME OF THE YEAR. i AM WITH YOU WE NEED TO LIVE CHRISTMAS THE WAY CHRISTMAS IS SUPPOSED TO BI LIVED!!!
I love it! Its a dilemma to shop for people when they have EVERYTHING! I am so glad that my Opus Dei group for girls is having them gather things like winter things and hair do accessories for the children in orphanages in Russia.
Diana, 12 years ago my Uncle and his wife adopted a beautiful little girl from a Russian orphangae...
I think Opus Dei is to be commended and it is so refreshing to hear a Mom who is looking for opportunities to bring charitable virtues to her children.
This is a time when SOMETHING NEW is to be born from us...
WELCOME TO THIS PHOTO - JOURNAL celebrating the traditional, Roman Catholic faith ... in words and images. I believe that Catholicism & The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass are the GOOD, the TRUE and the BEAUTIFUL in this life. With my camera and my words, what better f o c u s could I share on this blog? The first post appeared in May of 2007, when I started homeschooling my 4. In 2011, this blog was the reason we traveled to Rome, to participate in the VATICAN BLOGGERS MEETING, where my goal to promote Catholic social media began. Today, 2 of my homeschoolers have graduated and study at/graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville. It is so encouraging to have this online community, to know you are out there and to share what we learn with each other. May we do so, AMDG, for the glory of God and all for Jesus, Mary & Joseph. Totus Tuus! +JMJ+
