GOLDEN BIRTHDAY...TURNING 10 ON THE 10TH

In this photo you see our 2nd son holding a rosary. He recently commented that life may be like a rosary. We started off close to the crucifix, to God and now perhaps we're at the farthest point in the beads from Him...in the 3rd mystery... but we'll be coming around again to return to Christ, (with Mary holding our hand).....

BIRTH VERSE Proverbs 8:10

Receive my instruction, and not money: choose knowledge rather than gold. Second son, we pray that you will grow in the wealth of the knowledge of Our Lord and His ways. True riches are to be found in Him....

Second son, we pray that His ways are inscribed permanently into your heart and mind so that you always feel your Heavenly Father's nearness and radiate His love...

We pray also for the intercession of St. Benedict, St. Lawrence, St. Michael, St. Anthony and the Holy Innocents attached to our boy.

Special birthday breakfast, with the Captain

This time, it's a foursome for chip and putt. Lunch was his favorite Nino's Pizza. For dinner the birthday boy has requested that his Dad grill steaks and I make Uncle Ben's wild rice. Afterwards it's off to Coldstone Creamery so he can have some reese's peanutbutter cups smashed into his icecream. I hope to get the place singing for him...he'll just love that!
