It's Holy Week and the greatest story ever told is playing out...

O God, you willed the ignominious death of your son on the cross that we might be delivered from the power of the enemy. Grant that we, your servants, may obtain the grace of rising again with him. Through the same Jesus Christ, our Lord.

Awaken our sensibilities, almighty God, so that through your son's death in the world, which is re-enacted in this holy rite, we may firmly believe that you have bestowed eternal life upon us.
