Moments of Grace: Birthday GRACE - Online Daybook for Last Week in January 2014

I have always loved Jenny, her blog/photography, her spirituality/books and her Moments of Grace and I am hoping to join her in them, again.

THANKING GOD FOR...
:: An absolutely delightful birthday weekend
:: The blessings of family, their greetings combined with those of friends on Facebook
:: A necklace made by my mother's hands
:: A mug made by my daughter's hands.
:: Meals made for me, a break in routine
:: Margaritas
:: Mass, said for me, on my birthday.
:: My generous Husband

LISTENING TO...
Crazy lyrics but so much soul... for MORE in this vein, here's a favorite of mine http://youtu.be/sUAbHhlOYhE I Remember, I Believe

READING...
 ::Father Longenecker, who was a witness to the attack on the Pope's doves of peace http://www.patheos.com/blogs/standingonmyhead/2014/01/that-attack-on-the-popes-doves.html
:: My camera manual
:: About today's Saint, Angela Merici

PRAYING...
:: For those who have cancer, especially those I love
:: For Facebook friends who've asked for prayers
:: For my family's health & safety
:: For those who are out in this cold

PONDERING...
:: Persecution

LOVING THIS QUOTE...

FROM THE KITCHEN...
We've eaten out a lot lately, celebrating.  We need a break tonight and tomorrow, simpler and lighter foods, in preparation for Meat-A-Palooza. We're joining a lot of family members later in the week to try one of those Brazilian meat restaurants that keep bringing meat carved off a spear.

ON MY TO-DO LIST...
:: Got to get my 1st semester paperwork sent into Mother of Divine Grace

TO RECOMMEND...
:: I created a new Pinterest board for teaching Shakespeare

CAPTURED...
:: scenes from a birthday weekend

Isn't that a cool, personalized skin for my laptop?
