Invention Convention at Hagley Museum
There's still time to go...open Sunday and Monday! [SITE]
Your kids can let their imagination go wild, creating and inventing....
Who would have thought these common (and not so common) household items could create a time machine?
In another room, the kids were able to choose items like VCRs, toasters, telephones, thermostats, vacuums and more to take apart, exploring their inner mechanisms.
Then, there are the on-going lectures by the Franklin Institute, today's was on flight. Fireballs flew through the room and rockets launched! Sunday's talks will be on physics and Monday's on chemistry.
"Patents" are even given out on particularly awesome inventions!
