It is not summer anymore, but there are still roses on the vine.
Today was so beautiful. I was able to find some quiet time to walk around...by myself...silently with my camera and have some photo therapy. In the quiet and beautiful fall I am refreshed by these images.
Beautiful photos...we have roses still blooming too. I rarely photograph the roses though. I should I guess. It was very very windy here today, but so sunny and clear, and cool.
Beautiful photography Allison. You have a gift. And I like the title, "Sunday Silence". That was also the name of a famous race horse some years back. Take care. Joyce
Joyce, I adored Sunday Silence. Since childhood, the Derby has been a tradition and I'm partial to the all black horses with a streak of white. Sunday Silence was my favorite!
Absolutely beautiful photos, Allison! I just love this time of year. It is wonderful to take the time and appreciate God's creation. Too often it is overlooked due to "busyness." :-(
Amid God's glory is where peace is guaranteed. Thank you for bringing a piece to the bloggy world for all of us to share...Those maple leaf photos are stunning!
WELCOME TO THIS PHOTO - JOURNAL celebrating the traditional, Roman Catholic faith ... in words and images. I believe that Catholicism & The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass are the GOOD, the TRUE and the BEAUTIFUL in this life. With my camera and my words, what better f o c u s could I share on this blog? The first post appeared in May of 2007, when I started homeschooling my 4. In 2011, this blog was the reason we traveled to Rome, to participate in the VATICAN BLOGGERS MEETING, where my goal to promote Catholic social media began. Today, 2 of my homeschoolers have graduated and study at/graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville. It is so encouraging to have this online community, to know you are out there and to share what we learn with each other. May we do so, AMDG, for the glory of God and all for Jesus, Mary & Joseph. Totus Tuus! +JMJ+

Thanks Jamie Jo and Joyce.

Thank you for sharing those photos! They are all so very beautiful!!!
What gorgeous photos. I love the colors especially the second one. We are just barely seeing fall color here.
Allison, these photos are beautiful. I love the one with the blue bench in the background. Oh it is so true that photography is therapeutic.
