Remembering my dearest Nana on today's first anniversary of her passing
(Bendaroo fashioned SPIDERS stuck to front door windows by 6 year old decorator)
(Don't worry, he did this to himself!)
SOULEMAMA's {this moment} - A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.

lovely picture of your Nana. Eternal rest grant unto her, Oh lord, and let perpetual Light shine upon her. Great back yard pic -- such beautiful colors. Love the "album" cover of your celeb daughter! interesting: the inside of your front door looks very similar to mine (with the little window panes on both sides, but my door's handle is on the other side, isn't that weird. have a happy weekend.

I love your pictures. Nana was a beautiful woman. ;) Eternal rest grant unto her.
Those bendaroos. Let me tell you. At Mass, twice now, there is a lady who has four kids, the two youngest of whom play with those things during Mass and stick them all over the back of the pew. It does not keep them still nor quiet. I find it distracting that the mom keeps moving around trying to unstick them etc.. and reprimand when they stick them in the hymnals etc.
Your bendaroo is appropriate. Thank you for putting "honor" back into that toy. ;)
I haven't seen the Bendaroo before now. Love the decorating at the house. I'm missing the longer seasons as fall was over in a matter of a few weeks up here.
WELCOME TO THIS PHOTO - JOURNAL celebrating the traditional, Roman Catholic faith ... in words and images. I believe that Catholicism & The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass are the GOOD, the TRUE and the BEAUTIFUL in this life. With my camera and my words, what better f o c u s could I share on this blog? The first post appeared in May of 2007, when I started homeschooling my 4. In 2011, this blog was the reason we traveled to Rome, to participate in the VATICAN BLOGGERS MEETING, where my goal to promote Catholic social media began. Today, 2 of my homeschoolers have graduated and study at/graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville. It is so encouraging to have this online community, to know you are out there and to share what we learn with each other. May we do so, AMDG, for the glory of God and all for Jesus, Mary & Joseph. Totus Tuus! +JMJ+

My thoughts and prayers are with you as you try to get through these days with a smile on your face.
