Bee Pumpkin Day
We remember well the days when our 2 oldest were little and we'd take them to this orchard/pumpkin patch. My husband especially has a luv for a set of photos of his "hayheads."
What a fun Fall Friday we had taking our family, especially our 2 "littles" to the same destination for their turn. It was a nippy and windy day and once again they were sitting on the haybales and measuring their heights.
My....how they've grown...
Glorious day.
We came home and carved our pumpkins and ate our cider donuts and roasted our pumpkin seeds.
Tonight we're having a homemade chicken and wild rice soup and a fresh loaf of bread. And the wind is blowing colorful leaves around the property.
Autumn is at it's peak...and once again my favorite time of the year is passing quickly. It's innate in us to want the good and the beautiful .
