Something About Mary ~ Fatima...Papal Prohecy??

For your discernment....

"In the 1930's, the Vatican Secretary of State, the future Pope Pius XII, made an astonishing prophecy about the upcoming upheaval in the Church. He predicted with a terrific degree of accuracy just about everything that was going to go wrong in the Church. The following was taken from a biography of Pius Xll by Cardinal Roche."

"I am worried by the Blessed Virgin's messages to Lucy of Fatima. This persistence of Mary about the dangers which menace the Church is a divine warning against the suicide of altering the Faith in her liturgy, her theology and her soul.

I hear all around me innovators who wish to dismantle the sacred chapel, destroy the universal flame of the Church, reject her ornaments and make her feel remorse for her historical past.

A day will come when the civilized world will deny its God, when the Church will doubt as Peter doubted, she will be tempted to believe that man has become God.

In our churches, Christians will search in vain for the red lamp where God awaits them. Like Mary Magdalene weeping before the empty tomb, they will ask where have they taken Him?"

I could not agree more. I believe she was predicting the present day. It's a very scary thought and I fear for the future of my children.

Yes, times are bad and persecution of the church is at its worst, but remember "... the Gates of Hell Shall Not Prevail Against It(God's Church)". Matt 16:18. Jesus tells us not to fear because these things are bound to happen. The church will not disappear, nor will the Word of God. Jesus has already overcome the world. So have no fear, for that kind of fear does not come from the Lord. Stand firm in your faith, live a life of holiness setting an example for all to see and pray at all times for the salvation of souls.

Have confidence in the Lord that He is in charge .... have no fear.

"... The world will make you suffer. But take heart, I have defeated the world" John 16:33
