Polish Madonna Art

10:49 PM
Watching the squirrels at our feeders today, their acrobatic antics, reminded me of this unusual picture of Our Lord and Lady by a polish artist.

Something about this charms me.

Thanks for sharing. I have never seen that painting before. Those crazy squirrels....ya either lovem or hatem...I lovem.

When I was around 12yrs old I use to hunt those sweet little buggers until my uncles told me I had to learn how to clean them. Last time I did that. They really look rat like in the crockpot anyways. Sorry....but true.

JMJ,

I had to come back and post a link for anyone interested in the artist of the beautiful painting you posted.

Was anyone else caught off guard by the earthy beauty like I was? If so check out this link
http://campus.udayton.edu/mary/polishexhibit.html

It features many beautiful paintings by Wislawa Kwiatkowska. An artist I had never heard of until today.

Thanks JMJ!
