And she was exceedingly beautiful...Judith 8:7

4:03 PM
I love that this bible verse from Judith coincides with my daughter's birth verse. She has two others that I note as well.

She is 4 now.

She came downstairs all excited on her birthday morn, anxious to hear us all wish her a happy birthday! Having dressed in the clothing she desired, she asked for Princess Leia hair.
We had said, "Goodnight 3 year old," to her the night before and she had been waiting for this day of "Good Morning 4 year old, Happy Birthday!" Plans included Tom & Jerry cartoons, lunch at the Waffle House and a family pizza party.
She and I made a Thomas cake for dessert. Opening her presents she jumped up and down and gave effusive hugs...she was charming!

I love this age....

I love this daughter, my only one!

May the good Lord in His Love watch over her.

I call my daughter "my only one" because she is. They have a special spot in a mama's heart.

4 is a sweet sweet age. Enjoy because I really do not know how my baby girl got to be 7!

Thomas the tank engine????????? That is funny! Did she really want that?

That is cute. Yummy looking cake.

Enjoy your little princess and have a blessed birthday with her.

God Bless her on her special day.

I will say a Hail Mary for her.

As a little girl living in an all-boy house she is affected.

Although she plays with dolls and a dollhouse, princesses and my little ponies, they are often attacked by Jedi's and Darth Vadar. Birthday requests were for a C3PO figure to add to her collection along with a Luke, Lando and Chewbacka to assist Princess Leia. Sometimes, the Jedi fighter planes land in the dollhouse! She likes to wrestle like a power ranger, play golf and hockey like the boys. She's great at Xbox and....

to answer your question Christine....

Yes, she is a HUGE Thomas the Tank engine lover. She had quite a collection, loves the videos and books and I even purchased her Thomas fabric to have a dress made because you can't find girl Thomas outfits.

Plus, her friend had a birthday a few days earlier and he had a Thams cake and so she dedided her's must look like his!

A Thomas Cake? I was wondering what in the world is that? St. Tomas?

I need to remember pictures do help add life to a story, so it is best to look at them too.

"Thomas the train, now I get it."

Beautiful little heart your daughter has.

Oooooh I love her!! She's gorgeous and reminds me soooo much of my littlest girl who will be turning three tomorrow. I think your beautiful pictures added to the excitement I'm feeling about my daughter's birthday is almost too much for me at the moment. :) I rarely get all misty when I'm blog-reading. So thank you for that!

Happy belated birthdays to all those I missed and God bless you all!

HI Allison,
Just seeing this post about your daughter's birthday!
How beautiful. I also made my daughter (who is now almost 10) a Thomas the tank engine cake when she had her fourth birthday. She just reminded me of it yesterday and now here I am seeing your daughter's fourth birthday photos and blog with a Thomas cake.
She looks just like you!
she still loves Thomas too!!
Love,
Stephanie(from Heart of SEton)
