Slice of Heaven from 2007 awards
These are the blogs I should add to my sidebar blogroll. I've read and enjoyed them regularily in 2007. I thank them and ask that God may bless their New Year!
In fact, let me create my own award here....I'll call it A SLICE OF HEAVEN FROM 2007! That sounds cheesy enough! This award honors those blogs we regularily visit and enjoy...the ones that *sweetened* our year! PASS IT ALONG. (And what's more Catholic than a trappist monk fruit cake slice?)
First, of course, and from my sidebar, Catholic Family Vignettes where Kimberly always has something engaging to post. The same can be said of Father Z at What Does the Prayer Really Say. Then there are great ideas at By Sun and Candlelight, history lessons and Catholic thoughts at Tea at Trianon , A Marian focus at Castle of the Immaculate , videos at Catholic TUBE, fun at Laura the Crazy Mama, gardens and wit at St. Fiacre's garden, heartwarming at Small Treasures, for laughs, June Cleaver after a sixpack, just as it says at Family Centered Life, charm at Minnesota Mom, a great mix at Recapturing our Catholic Patrimony, and something thoughtful at Against All Heresies, much to enjoy at Waltzing Matilda, GREAT pictures at Hallowed Ground, introspection and more at A Third Way, because I know her, Life with small blessings, because it always delights me, Pondered in my heart, because this young momma is further along than I was at her age, Lady in Blue, because she celebrates her children, Snowy Days, because she's so honest, Catholic Momma : Keeper of the Monkey House, because I like to check in on Tom and all things Aussie, Aussie Coffee Shop, because it doesn't look like every other blog, A Catholic Mom Climbing the Pillars, because he is our future, the Seminarian at Per Te, Sancta Maria, humor at Salve Regina, photos and more charm me at Cottage Blessings, and finally, for now, across the "pond" for tea with the UK's, Catholic Mom of 10.
THANK YOU BLOGGERS FOR THE COMMUNITY YOU HAVE HELPED CREATE!

Thank you so much for including me! Wow, what an illustrious list of people to be included among! I think I regularly check in on about ten of the ones you've listed and have at least checked out the others. I like the title of your award, it's not cheesy at all...it's sweet and creative, just like you!
God Bless!
Thank you so much! What a lovely tribute you have created here and I feel very honored to be included in this awesome group. And I agree... your title is not cheesy!

+JMJ+ ~ I'm sure everyone would agree that you too deserve to be given this scrumptious award that you have blessed us with. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and I'm glad you enjoy my blog. I keep it for my family that live far from us, and they are not Catholic. I try not to drown them in it, but sprinkle it in for their own spiritual journey. We pray for them. Thank you for such wonderfully Catholic blogs to dive into for the New Year! God bless you!
Hi thanks for the nomination...but if i have a nomination to give for you it will go like this "for the best friend, the most inspiring homeschooling mom, the lady with the strongest catholic faith, the most giving, the most loving smile, the most gracious hostess and mostly a true daughter of the Church" so i will name my nomination The (your name) Award!!!
i'm honoured..thankyou..

Wow, Allison! Thank you so much for the honor! As a former Kentuckian I can appreciate the Trappist Monastery fruit cake. We used to regularly visit the TM's in Northern Kentucky. Their fruit cake is to die for.
On a more serious note, God bless you! What an encouragement you are to me, sister blogger! I'd like to throw the award right back at you...so consider yourself awarded!
Thank you so much for this very sweet award! How kind of you to do this and I, too, am honored to be in this delightful line up. Happy New Year!

Thanks for the award, I as you do, believe that we have truly built a wonderful Catholic community here in the blogger world. What a wonderful feeling!

How lovely to have comments posted from you again at my blog. You have a lovely family, lovely posts on your own blog and I'm wondering if you have any idea how much of a kindred spirit you are with things posted here. Hmmm.... email me anytime, I just have no way to email you back with the posts you've been sending.
Sursum Corda and Happy New Year!
Renee
